Insight into the corporate culture - Swiss Climate employees tell their stories

Are you wondering what skills you need to work in a consultancy? Do you want to know what challenges consultants in the sustainability industry have to deal with and which opportunities arise as a result?

At our first webinar on the topic of corporate culture, our consultants Luka Blumer and Niklaus Brunner, and our CEO Othmar Hug answered questions such as these live and talked about their personal journey at Swiss Climate.

The recruitment process as a positive experience

Also present was Xenia Schwarzenbach of our long-standing HR partner People Investor AG, who supports us in jointly creating an outstanding corporate culture and professional HR processes.

"In an era in which employer branding and corporate culture are becoming increasingly important, Swiss Climate has nothing to hide. Compared to many other companies of a similar size, Swiss Climate relies on excellent HR processes and consequently on an outstanding candidate and employee experience. As an HR company, we have the privilege of working closely with Swiss Climate and observing how it continues to develop in these important areas. We hope that through the webinar we were able to demonstrate to the participants the importance of this topic for Swiss Climate and give them an insight into the corporate culture and the exciting activities."

Xenia Schwarzenbach, People Investor

No mincing of words: a webinar for the curious

In addition to the recruitment process, the 20 or so participants were particularly interested in the work content at Swiss Climate. Our consultants Niklaus and Luka were on hand to answer questions and explain what a typical working day at our company might look like, how strongly we work as a team, for how long we support companies, what their biggest personal successes have been over the past year and what they are particularly looking forward to in the coming year.

In addition to personal questions, the webinar also included critical questions. Luka and Niklaus talked about how they deal with suspicions of greenwashing and media accusations in relation to their customers and how they feel about overtime.

Your questions – adding value for Swiss Climate

Swiss Climate consists of a young, agile team that is aware of its responsibility in the sustainability market and regularly reflects on itself accordingly. The exchange with interested parties and potential applicants was therefore also very informative for us. All of our employees actively contribute to our corporate culture - together we drive the industry forward.

"The webinar enabled me to share my day-to-day work and our corporate culture , while at the same time debunking prejudices about the consulting profession. I enjoyed giving participants an insight into what they can look forward to at Swiss Climate and sharing my own experiences."

Luka Blumer, Senior Consultant Swiss Climate

"The exciting questions from the participants encouraged me to reflect on my day-to-day work as a consultant and to become even more aware of my skills and needs. I was particularly pleased that certain participants contacted me personally after the webinar. I can imagine that, in contrast to conventional information events, a format like this can provide a very authentic insight into the corporate culture."

Niklaus Brunner, Consultant Swiss Climate
